A collaborative professional practice work in response to the theme Global Journeys is here presented through the research and realization of three individual pieces that research flight as a natural phenomenon, a forced action or the need to find escape routes.

Artists Holly Warren, Sonja Coles and Rachel Brown are engaged in a BA (Honors) degree in Fine Art with the University of Hertfordshire delivered by IDI, Level 5.

Each artist produced a unique artwork that reflects their artistic and ethical approach to the subject. The three pieces blend into each other demonstrating how wire papier-machè, digital photography and sewing can come together in an illustrative narrative.
